stars on songshooter today!

Hi, Songshooter.com will be featuring my music throughout the next four weeks, and I'm keeping it to tracks that I've never released on any album, mostly because for whatever reason they didn't seem to fit at the time. Ok, this one is "Stars In An Endless Sky," & was recorded a few years back in between the time of my first solo album, Annabella, & most recent, "Perfect View." I had gone in and laid down a bunch of new tracks, a couple of which I rerecorded on "Perfect View." We were in the control room between takes and just fooling around when we recorded this. Jimi Zhivago is played the harp live and he overdubbed the National, I was playing acoustic with a slide. Whoever else was there supplied the handclaps & I added a shaker. Definitely a slice of my growing up, this song. I like it's looseness. Nothing beats the live stuff.
